My life story

I grew up in suburban Minnesota in the Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan area. Life before COVID-19 is uninteresting, I just watched YouTube and kids shows all day. If you talk to me in real life though, you know I love referencing things from this time like Naruto and Pewdiepie. When everyone went on lockdown, I became an annoying /mu/core kid who would just sit in his bed and listen to albums from front to back. I mean like really annoying, I got banned from the YouTuber deep cuts' Discord server.
Either way, my love for music ended up defining my high school life as I ended up becoming the biggest band kid in high school. I did absolutely everything the program had to offer; jazz band, percussion ensemble, marching band, concert band, pit orchestra, holiday band, you name it. It was a very different music than what I fell in love with over COVID but I still loved every second of it for both how playing made me feel and how much I loved the people around me. My band kid friends in high school will always be my best friends, it hasn't changed 3 years later. I still love music more than anything in the world but don't plan on doing it professionally ever, I just don't think it's meant for me.
I was blessed with electrical engineer mom genes so I always had an interest in math-y stuff. I think my want to apply math to science through physics really came down to good classes in high school (shout out Mr. Meyer and Mr. Haugh). I didn't know I would do physics until 2nd semester when I took electromagnetism and really started loving the subject.
